There really was no need to create arguments of why they were bad, because the vast majority of the population didnt want them or were indifferent. 

Demand, population growth, new units coming online, etc.

If you need Craigslist, then a check-mark when you post populates that for you, but watch out for some scammer scraping and relisting your house for their benefit.

It had a more of a buzz and in a few years will be more populated than Bham.

Which should help identify the demand and competition in the area, as well as population in 1, 3 and 5 mile circles. 

The population of the small town has not grown much and the value has increased to my original purchase price.
