The home does not have separate meters for gas/water/electric and all the ducting is connected to the same furnace and A/C... the thermostat for the air conditioning and heater is in our unit. 

I have excellent credit, zero debt, and a decent amount of cash in the bank.

These are professionals with additional training and a stricter code of ethics.

It is a top/bottom style duplex with a flat roof and a basement so there should be no issues around ducting. each floor is around 1,100 sq ft  Any idea how much I should be looking to get this quoted for?  

General rule of thumb is "toddler and idiot proof," and a toddler or idiot could easily electrocute themselves or fall off where there aren't handrails, so that needs to be fixed.

And a blowup means the fund would have defaulted on debt and investors would have lost 100% of their investment.
