Does anyone have any insurance companies they've used for insuring a mobile home community with a lagoon?

I'd like to access this equity through a Home Equity Loan (HEL) and use it to make downpayment on another investment property purchase (12 unit bldg).I bought this 4-plex in my personal name with a conventional mortgage .

rent is still growing, but I have a great tenant base and we are looking for stable tenants.

Hi I was wondering if I can take profits from a different business (has nothing to do with real estate) to go towards buying houses to help with taxes or would that not work? 

So what I'm asking is if there's a better way to estimate CapEx on a property during preliminary analysis, i.e., without having to go to the state where it's located and asking around, i say this because there has to be a good way to estimate these things before going deep into the dealAny insights on this guys?

Also, which option would make sense for me: a HELOC or a Home Equity Loan?

Hello Tax pros,I am planning on executing a 1031 Exchange (simple one - no boot, same owner, etc.) using IPX 1031 sometime over next couple of months  (already had call with IPX) and had a question relating to my taxes on the potential upcoming transaction.  

Another accountant said it’s ordinary income subject to SE tax since we’re a partnership LLC.

I had to take a break from my RE business because of my corporate career.  

Now that BP has somehow determined #1 status for some members it might be fun to do a weekly podcast with the #1s in a round table.
