We have 32 acres of land 50 miles south of Chicago, that is zoned for single family use.Development Plans for 1/2 of it have already been drawn and approved and we can start sewer water and streets at any time for the first 40 lots.What can we do to make these homes available to families with lower median incomes without us losing money on the project?

Without water you will be in real trouble.So a street or dirt road onto or through the land will help to get the drill rig there.

You benefit by having a far less involved management and maintenance problem, motivated occupant, far less issue with "rent" being late, and if you do it right, you can duplicate this cookie cutter anywhere and make big bucks. 8)The way I learned how to do this: www.landtrust.netI became a member of the NARS system and for me, it takes away most of the problems you find with renting the traditional way.
