BiggerPockets has been a life changer for me and I am appreciative of all the Youtube videos and guests that have shared their knowledge; us newbies are out here and listening. 

Has anyone else interacted or experienced a builder/flipper person that doesn't really 'get' the specific details of asking for a loan?

I'd appreciate any insight/help y'all can give me - this interaction has made me aggressively second-guess the decision to enter this partnership as it feels like he's trying to slip one past me.

@Luis Martell there are lots of videos on youtube with solid info on how to do no money down deals.

@Moira Mosley-Duffy - In addition to the commentary already provided by @Milton Rivera and @Grant Rothenburger... it's worth mentioning that we've had a positive experience with the service called WeGoLook before entering due diligence, when purchasing properties remotely.They took updated pictures, did a 2 page (simple) PDF summary of neighborhood observations and we paid a couple extra bucks for iPhone videos of the neighborhood, to make sure we weren't purchasing properties in warzones.

Custom built because I want to add an inlaw apartment and to design the house in a way where I don't have to interact with the tenants, as in, they have their own exits and entrances and perhaps make their bedrooms into mini studios (with full bathroom and kitchenette).

I mean, there is a video on Youtube on what NOT to do.

If SIP has taught us anything, it is that, it is human nature to want to collaborate and socially interact with others.

It was all done through video and not through glass like you see in the movies.

It’s awesome, 1 meeting per month, and you’ll get to interact with investors of all levels, see more deals, etc.
