If you catch them when they are young, the tiny roots won't do fatal damage.  

But the portions were tiny.

Every tiny little community wants their own police force, fire department, and school district.

I'm in a county jurisdiction that uses the IRC (International Residential Code).But we also have two RV's, a Tiny Home and a detached Studio that will eventually each draw unwanted attention and require either a license as a storage facility or permitting as a campground. 

Many times the existing granite tops need only minor repairs such as scratch, chip and even crack repairs to get it back looking good as new.

Personally I am happy I added this to my tiny portfolio.The retort to that would be that I don't get to take advantage of leverage.

People are starting to crack down on it a little but their efforts are basically useless so far.

There are a few cracks but the basement seems very dry, no evidence of water.  

Exterior upgrades like siding, paint, caulk in foundational settling cracks, etc..
