Are there laws restricting this / too much headache?

Rent is softening with people moving away from Seattle due to COVID, ongoing protests, and a crazy city council.I think the real housing crisis in Seattle is that $1,860 is still too expensive for many.Seattle has been making large investments in rent restricted units.

I assume you have already looked at your HOA s docs to see if there are restrictions on renting. 

The apartment management or the owner may put restrictions on their contract in the future.

Now given parts of Queens and Bklyn back under restriction, it seems to make sense to wait for the restriction to lift before making any downward price adjustment, would you agree?
