It is pure networking, which is a great way to get 20-30 new, mostly educated opinions about sub markets within Chicago. 

The key is to find those off market distressed/motivated sellers through marketing, advertising and your network. 

We need a network or 'union' if you will. 

This is a great place to learn and network.

We finally found him an off market deal through our friend network, thankfully, hard to avoid overpaying when your competition is coming in multiple six figures over asking, cash, no contingencies, no appraisal, no inspection even (also becoming common here).
