There may be legitimate paperwork that the property owner needs to sign... or he may be trying to get you to obtain a homeowner permit which may or may not be legal depending on your state laws.

Brady St is a very busy street (3 lane one way) so in general homeowners don't want to live right on it but I don't think renters would mind.

The Agent's see it as only a small renters policy, but when he informed me about that I explained over nintey percent of them drive and some will be future homeowners and his eyes lit up like a roman candle on the fourth of July.

I agree with Gabriel that there is a lot of competition from other investors and homeowners in the nicer neighborhoods around the harbor.  

She has a good job, great credit, and home owner so I know I will get approved by many lenders.
