I called the bank and ask about this, given that we chose the external option... the bank replied that the external insurance didn't cover exactly the same as the bank's insurance and therefore, they had to activate their insurance to meet with the banks requisites...Now the REALLY funny part:I called my broker and told him about the situation, we set down and compared the policies and there were EXACLY the same... with one detail extra from the external company: my wife condition demands a specialist (doctor) to make a verification of her health status prior to signing off the insurance... this is mandatory for all insurances, and the bank activated their insurance WITHOUT this verification...

The actual verbiage of the CDC order is as follows:"Nothing in this Order precludes evictions based on a tenant, lessee, or resident: (1) Engaging in criminal activity while on the premises; (2) threatening the health or safety of other residents; [10] (3) damaging or posing an immediate and significant risk of damage to property; (4) violating any applicable building code, health ordinance, or similar regulation relating to health and safety; or (5) violating any other contractual obligation, other than the timely payment of rent or similar housing-related payment (including non-payment or late payment of fees, penalties, or interest)
