Heard this recently as "the fly on the wall".

I was recently hired by a full service brokerage (leasing, property management, investor relations, acquistions, etc.) and they use the time during the 3 week accelerated prelicensed broker class to determine what role you fit best within the company.

We recently started flipping homes again.

I am a recently purchased homeowner in Hunterdon County, NJ simply looking to build out my network and meet others in Central/North NJ.

I recently found an older duplex with a unit for rent. 

I recently have moved to California where I came to help my brother in law build a 2 bed apartment on the back of his house. 

Buying a 4-unit building is not so much different than buying a 20 or 50 unit, as long as you have key partners like good property management.I recently looked into buying a 280 unit building, which I never would have dreamed of doing a few years ago.

They all have different opinions, unfortunately.There have been several threads on this forum recently that discussed LLCs and asset protection in depth, including this one. 

Apparently the tenant recently had some issues with the roomate, including multiple month of non-payment of rent, so the tenant decided to "lockout" the roomate by putting the roomates items on the porch and not providing the roomate with a new set of keys.
