Buying a 4-unit building is not so much different than buying a 20 or 50 unit, as long as you have key partners like good property management.I recently looked into buying a 280 unit building, which I never would have dreamed of doing a few years ago.

Tenant changed locks on roommate . Any legal issues for owner?

Apparently the tenant recently had some issues with the roomate, including multiple month of non-payment of rent, so the tenant decided to "lockout" the roomate by putting the roomates items on the porch and not providing the roomate with a new set of keys.
