"Pre-foreclosure" is a term that is misunderstood often...it indicates that "lis pendens or notice of default is filed (consider it a lawsuit) until the property is sold."

Hi,I did a private lending, term was 1 year. there was a clause that borrowed can extend loan (if lender is ready) for 2 times, each time for 3 months. but borrower has to pay 1 point for each extension(3months). so extension can be done total 6 months.Now, after 1 year, borrower keep paying interest .3 years went like that.Now Borrower wants to pay off. in such case what should be Loan extension point added.Thanks

and deed flip flop is going to cause tax implications as someone who was raised i sub to and wrap my dad did them in the 70s and 80s and I have bought about 200 sub 2s but my play was just to fix flip and sell not to own long term this is where the risk comes especially those that wrap these to buyers that may or may not pay. paying off mortgage is the ONLY sure fire way to make sure these dont end up in a mess.

Also keep in mind that fees and charges matter, but a long term vacancy will hurt you more in the long run than a company who can better market the property even at a higher fee structure.
