I cant imagine that they are much more than a CL crawler program packaged with a nice website. 

The RE landscape here overall is huge with every imaginable market.

This will take a lot of learning, networking and I imagine a lot of time on Bigger Pockets (BP).

I can imagine that this form of marketing will be tough and yield very little fruit, especially with the more units the apartment has.

I imagine you need the permits to be done before you will lend anything?  

I guess there's too many Las Vegans pouring money into South Utah so the Utahns know less than we do?

We always find these great things we imagine we can do with properties. 

That is true today, and I can't imagine how much more true it will be 10-15 years from now.

i have never known a landlord that didn't need an electrician sometime. barter the education. finding properties is not the hard part. i find some everyday just driving around. i would imagine most investors in your area are not going to be willing to educate you much because it takes away from them. but you can ask all of us here on BP and i am sure we would be willing to help. granted, things are different in jersey compared to buffalo, and such, but we might still have the answer you are looking for. ask away. bigger pockets is all about educating you. good luck
