I am trying to scale up my portfolio.  

Wood quality began dropping on a serious scale in the 1980s due to old-growth timber being almost completely depleted.Most wood used today is grown very fast - not only can you visibly see the difference in quality, but the newer lumber is more prone to rotting due to a lack of heartwood.

Their system is great and will definitely be good to use as you scale up.

That can literally be like 50 bucks - and that is not up to youInvesting in section 8 usually means C-D class areas - Higher risk, higher turnover, higher chance of evictions, higher chance of property damage, behind on rent etc.Instead of buying a 20 unit, maybe considering scaling down and investing in a solid area. 

Which with two more give us level to scale up now.

You want to ensure you get your feet wet on a smaller scale if you do it on your own or find a good partner to "hold your hand" in the first deal.

While starting off you should be able to handle your own bookkeeping initially until you start to scale.

If I am not considering the tax consequences, which are relevant, I would sell just because holding a property in West Milford doesn't have that much scale.
