I’d think long and hard about this and possibly set up financial parameters for who is responsible.

There is a web site that lists all the section 8 housing, so people might be also be looking there. 

I’d prefer less outsourcing on behalf of the banks and fewer web portals/ apps/ servicing companies because in my experience the more entities involved the more glitches, so adding a VA and another layer of software to the mix doesn’t sound inviting.

Then I mail a very simple handwritten letter and usually get north of a 30% response rate.  

It is not the responsibility of the buyer to look at a previous survey.

Also, you mention snow removal, is it ever the case that the tenant is responsible for some shoveling?

Also do you have any info on him. i can dig up some info on him and then get an attorney to file a suit against him if oyu wanted to go that route. happy to assist in digging up info so you can give it to an attorney. note I am not an attorney but a note investor and good at finding stuff on the web
