@Jane HoThis sounds extremely bad... have not heard of anything like this but it sounds like somebody trying to make a business off of a one-off experience that shouldn't be done or replicated. 

We wanted to replicate this on a property close to us.

During the data gathering on the 2 cities (Champaign and Urbana) I could see that replicating this type of effort across a state, regional, or nation and keeping data quality would definitely be a challenge.  

My hesitation in selling and cashing out of the property is that I probably won't be able to replicate the return I'm getting.

Then the second explosion in 2021 gave us the equity to replicate what we did the first time.Having the 2 rentals is great on paper but the last 2 springs, we've had to dump a lot of money into these rehabs, as well as a lot of time and stress.

That's an amazing deal and could be difficult to replicate.

Back in my home country, I have successfully owned a few properties, and now I'm eager to replicate that success in the USA.
