Much or the option price can be financed and all of the option price can be applied to the purchase price, with all payments made being applied.The option, to be a true option needs to stand on its own, any financing is an amount of the option price paid, so if the deal doesn't close there is still an obligation to pay if it was not fully paid.As mentioned above, amounts can be applied to closing costs. less pre paids.
