@Joe Butcher I'm seeing exactly what you've explained around Plano.

Plano and Frisco are better rental markets but it's a lot more expensive due to the high demand.

Collin county (Plano and Frisco) are booming and attracting new business Headquarters; plus the Cowboys moved to Frisco.

Midland ranked first in job creation followed by Odessa, College Station-Bryan, Austin-Round Rock, Dallas-Plano-Irving, Fort Worth-Arlington, and Abilene.The state’s actual unemployment rate was 4.1 percent.

Currently I am thinking Frisco, Plano, Dallas.

I read one article highlighting how dire things were getting in Frisco and now this one about Plano in the WSJ. 

I'm sure there are better examples but Dallas, Plano, and McKinney TX come to mind for growth over the last 20 years.

Dallas corridor - Plano, Richardson, Frisco, Allen, McKinney.

I'd be interested in anywhere in the general vicinity of Addison (Carrollton, Richardson, Garland, Mesquite, Irving, Plano, etc.). 

More or less same cluster at Preston and George Bush in Plano....and plenty more around the giant Metroplex.As I think is the case in most big cities, the big public hospitals are not always in the best places to live.
