Hi all, I’m just getting into real estate investing with my parents in the Ohio area.

I do not know the source of their funding but if they received donations for aids and are using it for this, then that would seem to be inappropriate use of funds.  

In any of these situations, as control of the parent company passes from the entrepreneurs who founded the company, to the “professional” managers who will run it, the deal will become worse for businesses relying on the parent company for their survival, with each successive management team taking a further larger bite out of the profits. 

Both to maximize profits (two rents) and incase we need to use the property to care for aging parents in the future. 

With the right targeted marketing to people in the Northeast & Midwest, appropriate amenities for the audience (you’ll want to have super solid washer and dryer for assorted horse laundry, places to put saddles, a solidly equipped kitchen, places for kids to study and parents to work, etc) you’d be able to distinguish yourself in the marketplace.

This would be for my parents' home.

I believe his parents helped with the purchase but he has since refied and paid them back.

. - I currently live with my parents to help out so my expenses/rent are very low.

From my perspective that would only be your grandparents because your parents would not do it.

My parents are realtors in Sherman/Denison and I'm from the Lewisville area.
