I don't personally know the cocoa beach area, but I can tell you I lived in a town for 3 yrs that I would have otherwise been priced out of because I lived in a condo, and my fees were always low.

ie 10yrs 15yrs 20 yrs etc.?

If you have two houses that are identical and one is 30 years old that needs work and the other is 40 yrs. old house that was just remodeled then the 40 yr. old has less depreciation.

I feel I have a knowledge and understanding of the market in this area as I have practiced both residential and commercial RE for a few yrs now.

I'm in the military, so we have dreams of renting this place out when I get transferred, buying a new one, and so on.In my perfect fantasy world, this method could yield me 3-4 nice single family homes by my mid 30s (in 10 yrs), a good passive income stream by my mid 40s (20 yrs), and a solid retirement foundation for 55+.I have a ton of research to do and this site looks awesome.

I have ran into about every situstion you can imagian in my 20 + yrs. as a RE Broker.

At least the money is guaranteed to be available for 20 yrs, even if the rate spikes.
