It offers affordable housing, solid rental demand, and generally favorable landlord laws.

I'm also a real estate agent, have been a landlord, leasing agent, and property manager.

Typically they want good credit score, landlord experience, and 20% down.You can get ones that will either use current rents OR market rents.

So, the landlord makes an extra $1000 per month with the same fixed costs.  

I live & invest in Chicago but recently have turned my head towards Northwest Indiana because of the landlord friendly laws, it's ridiculously costly in Chicago if you have to evict! 

Looking for good first hand experience with a recommendation... just what every landlord wants, someone who knows what they're doing and is reliable.

I was informed by KCMO Health Department that landlords are supposed to be paying an annual fee to them and they conduct inspections of rental units in the city?
