The eviction came about after this management company essentially held the house ransom stating they would not vacate the property unless I wire transferred funds to meet their $3,650 demand.

You will, likely, be required to sign and comply with their auxillary agreements, which you may not like/enjoy if push comes to shove. 

I'm all for making sacrifices, but we also do want to enjoy life along the way.I hope this helps.

I would say I lean more towards cities, in case it ever needs to be turned into an LTR, but am open to more vacation-centric destinations.Any advice is much appreciated, thanks! 

I enjoy looking for deals and figuring out how to rehab the properties etc, but I hate the accounting side.
