Everything else was piled 8' high with clothes in bags.

However, my main goal at this point and time in history is to preserve capital until the dust settles a little and I can see blue skies ahead.If you were one of my 5 Children or 14 Grand Children I would advise you to sit on the sidelines for a bit, take a chill pill and wait out the storm that lies ahead.

And the city has silly stuff like "Partners for Good Housing" (IIRC), and the lead dust rules. 

Because 1 month of rehab dust is worth about 5 years of regular dust. :-)The trick is to refuse to buy the flooring until the other stuff is completed.  

I would love some good leads to have in my bag, especially ones that other REI have used and had success with in the past.

Their neighbors have multiple broken down cards, appliances, and trash bags all of the yard.

If I wasn't so addicted to this southern culture, I'd pack up my bags tomorrow :)
