The kindness and humor of the responses is comforting in a field where there is very little down time (currently as I get it established) and you all "get it".

This is why I always hate on big banks for mortgages - while this kind of thing is not exclusive to them, it tends to happen with them at a much higher frequency.

I’m still in the learning process of what avenue of investing I want to venture down, and about a year ago I signed up for a course to become a realtor but then backed out as it wasn’t the right time to devote that kind of studying.

What kind of exclusives in the area does the current tenant have?  

The tenant is not going to extend early out of the kindness of their heart.The existing lender knows the borrower and knows the tenant well.

I’m just kind of overwhelmed with the process since my very first step to take action is unknown.

So, to get funding, you probably need some kind of asset based lending where the lending is focus on the value of the asset and the ability of the asset to generate income.
