It isn't war zone, but it is definitely not what most people in the Metroplex would consider even a "good" neighborhood.I have a great deal of respect and admiration for a couple of the TK companies operating here, and they will manage the issues that come from those neighborhoods, so if you are looking to be entirely passive, it's not a bad bet.  

@Daniel Siapin , while I admire your can-do attitude, I strongly encourage you to do some research on local rentals and returns before you jump in feet first.
