I might just be making this narrative up in my own head, but I feel it would be kind of awkward for the tenant to respect me as a landlord while at the same time having to write rent checks to an entity that makes overt mentions of being funded by said rent checks.

so far I’d just checked as a landlord with Safeco, Mercury, a few Farmers agencies and some other agencies that represent others which all said they won’t cover me, however, one Farmer agency sold me a $900 policy and said I’ll be covered which I later scope into the policy coverage that spelled out it doesn’t cover animals and I’d confirmed this with the Farmers district manager office; one of their policy writer called their underwriter.

James, the short answer is both.There are “direct writers”, those companies who only sell there product through there own agents, like State Farm.

Our team’s Airbnb expert James Svetec (co-writer Airbnb for Dummies, at one time top 1% of Toronto listings) says with active management, getting into the 75th percentile is quite easy.So, if we take all the months together and get average of the 75th percentile in Average Daily Rate (ADR) and Occupancy rate (as a percent of nights booked per month) for entire house listings on Airbnb we get the monthly revenue:1 BR: $3,7842 BR: $5,7573 BR: $6,3544 BR: $8,4235 BR: $10,358Another note here is that 2020/COVID was a boon to STR.
