VRBO's interface is old, outdated, rudimentary, leaves too much discretion to you as a host, and can land you in some legal troubles.

It has a user-friendly interface, integrates with popular tools, and is cost-effective.

I was able to.pick up a beach side SF a year after Sandy hit and started renting it out 18 months later after a refresh.  6 years ago Airbnb was not the PowerHouse it is now so I was using local websites with real simple interfaces that basically put you in touch with the prospective renter with one email I still use the site I think I pay $90 a year pretty straightforward I only offer 7-Day rentals starting 2 pm Saturday and ending the following Saturday at 9 am.

I could tell you how great RentTec is, but then you find the interface annoying.Go sign up for a few free accounts and run them through the wringer.

You can use them in custom paper reports you create, but all the graphical interfaces that are easy to look at don't seem to have any way to separate things by tag, nor does the business overview or other things quickly accessible. 

So if you have a buyer only interested in large homes that are fully fixed up then you can create a group for that kind of person and only allow them to have access to properties that would be part of that group...It sounds complicated but the entire program is centered around an easy to use administrative interface that anyone can use.

Perhaps if I upgraded to the paid version I could have more manual control, but the interface was 90% user friendly to a pretty solid MS Excel type mind.PropertyBuddy is a hybrid tool that is geared more towards property management than deal analysis, but it's expense logging and data export/report features are decent.  

Guesty and Hostaway are very similar, but Guesty has better user interface for property owners and more detailed analytics.

It's FREE.I also like Microsoft Dynamics CRM because of the similar interface it shares with Microsoft Office but find some features harder to customize unless you have a programming background (Microsoft loves to make thinks difficult).

Setup is super easy and the user interface is very smooth to navigate.
