Hi everyone,I was recently told that Section 8 does not provide inspection reports for passing units...only if a unit does not pass does owner/management get a report. 

@Alexandra WrightYou may want to find out the section of North Carolina law that binds them to provide this information.

I'm looking forward to dive in the learn section and soak up all the info I can get.

The property has a section 8 tenant that is mo. to mo. and seller is willing to evict prior to close.  

My post was taken down about our upcoming Developers' Network meeting -- I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to post event invites in this section, sorry!

I also searched in this market for the better part of 12 months [through realtor on the MLS] and this was 1 of 2 properties (other was section 8 on the outskirts of the highlands area) that actually had rental income which would exceed the cost of the PITI. 

I couldn't decide whether to post this in the beginner section or the buying real estate section but I do need the info in regards to decisions on purchases, so here it is.Thank you.Joe

and just inherited two section 8 tenants.My immediate goal is to wholesale or flip a property (or hold it if it works) to help finance more of these two-three families in Newark, NJ.

There's 10 on every street corner.  

I am considering the option of renting to section 8 tenants.
