We had to turn down the work as most of the buildings are single tenant retail buildings aka not our bread and butter appraisals.I believe there is an opportunity to syndicate this portfolio and possibly get a good deal given the age of the divorcing parties and given a bulk buy scenario.Both are currently represented by attorneys...What would be the best way to approach this?

It's common in any kind of dealings with a scammer type to sign a contract that is different than what was discussed/represented, and they just tell you "don't worry about what's in writing, this is what we'll do".
