Unfortunately, the contractor the architect recommended did not follow the plans and I am in need of new drawings.

30-year VA Home Loan Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

While I self manage, I have been recommended to one guy by multiple people. 

When in doubt, I would just recommend working with licensed lenders.

I also put all of the materials for the project on credit cards (don't recommend) so I was about $30,000 in credit card debt before I finished and paid off my debts.
