Protects the consumer against unforeseen circumstances that prevent them from traveling, i.e. - pandemnic, and the property owners are protected from cancellations.

Because of the uncertainty of the market I pushed the envelope further to request an additional 5 year extension option with a higher interest rate to help protect both parties.

But there are still a ton of players.. and hopefully this will be short lived.But its really going to affect those who provide rehabbed rentals to the open market if that credit dries up.. 

No city in the United States is protected to not take a loss from the COVID-19 recession.

My opinion in general is that regulation in general protects the scummiest of business people, landlords, etc. 

The government is puting protections which can drastically 'cut' our income as property investors, yet doesn't have any plans of subsidizing all of our expenses.

That protect you as an investor now and in the future.

Hundreds of posts about protecting/losing rent and it would be good to see a little thought given to how we can help limit this disease.

I think the answer is yes if you protect yourself.
