With out us (real estate investors) they are subject to the stock market as their primary source of wealth building.  

My husband and I aren't looking to get rich quick, we just want to invest in our future and most importantly the future of our children and not break our spirit in the process.At the moment we have our nest egg funds in the stock market, but have really focused on the idea that REI is a much more sound and satisfying investment. 

You'd still be keeping some of your principle and saving it as equity, because the mobile home will still sell for SOMETHING after you're done, it just won't sell for as much as you bought it for.

I own 2 families homes partly having to avoid dealing with the city regulations required in 3+ families and also because the majority of the housing stock in the Jersey City/Union City/North Bergen/West New York area consists of 2 family homes.

I know not everyone here is a fan of stock market investing but the heart and soul of their product is educating, learning together, and having fun with the process.

The housing stock is old and seems to keep some out of town investors out of the market.  

Don't get caught up in the thought that everything is going to have multiple offers over asking.New builds are still going up like crazy and have very minimal stock.
