With that being said, in urban areas like Detroit, Boston, Philly, NY, Baltimore.... you name... it is next to impossible to get a carry permit... though I wish it wasn't so hard... as there have been many times in Baltimore that the assurance cold hard steel would have been welcomed.If works for you... and that is great.

If that is the case, then your employer would probably be the one with the info as to whether that would be permitted or not.I believe you should be OK if you are buying FNMA inventory from other servicers; shouldn't be any conflict of interest there.

The problem is twofold: 1) the property is not zoned for a triplex 2) the "in-law" was formerly a garage and the work done on it was never permitted.

James, All of my jobs are pretty big so im not sure where the cut off is; however, any renovation project which requires a building permit and set of plans definetly qualifies.

If the lender gets wind that the defaulted borrower has vacated the premises, the lender will see to it that the property gets secured to protect the collateral backing the loan; this is usually permitted by wording in the loan documents.Now, if you think somebody at Wells Fargo actually can identify that there is a set of keys somewhere in their possession, and find them so that you can get in ... well, let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if they re-key the place after the foreclosure.
