Hi BP community - first time investor/participant here, so I'm not sure this post is in the right place, but here goes:I got a HELOC on my previous primary residence which is now my investment property to use as a down payment on my current primary residence.

I am a week away from participating in my first ever Tax deed sale, have done all the reviews at the courthouse and verified to the best of my ability so far, that the particular properties that I am gonna bid on have little to NO liens or issues at all.

It takes a ton of work to find a good deal, learn how to do REI (you've already started by reading great books and participating on Biggerpockets), network, save money or earn money to invest.That being said, I would give you a warning that one of the MOST important thing is timing.  

A lot of things need to happen to complete an objective, and I'm proud to say that I was a key component to filling the remaining vacancies for this office property.

@Dan Zamora If you go to the meetup site there are plenty of real estate groups that you can participate in for free in your area.  

I like to think I'm doing ok with real estate and hate to deviate from an investment I understand to start participating in a game like stocks where I have zero experience.

I sat down with them yesterday and they told me that I can participate in a syndicated deal and be an 'investor' listed in the PPM, but I cannot originate a deal.

Other major cities followed the trail, San Francisco coming at second with a recovery rate of 98% and Oklahoma City standing at 94.3% and proudly holding the third place in terms of recovery rate.

Yes IRA funds can be pooled with the IRA participant's parents funds in the same LLC provided very specific rules are followed.
