Either owned and operated a small business and it became larger, worked for a successful start up (think high tech), that went public, went to "trade school" (doctor, lawyer) and went to the upper reaches of their field, or worked long and hard at their job, saved and invested wisely and didn't pi## away their money on foolish things like new cars every two years etc.There are two sides to becoming a millionaire, getting it (offense) and keeping it (defense).

I'm fairly certain that the purpose of a notary public is to attest that person signing the document is, in fact, the person they claim to be.

If the rules were changed to allow direct bids from the public I wouldn't need an agent/broker at all.Most of the folks I know negotiation lower commissions with agents/brokers as part of their deals now.

How can I get an agreement with the local broker that says if I find the buyer, I get 2.5%Also, I think with my sales skills, I can sell it for more than they have it listed for on the MLS.I am confident I can find a buyer, we need to sell the house quick and I don't want my Grandma's financial state to be in control of a non-motivated brokerage.

You can normally borrow up to 50k that way.If you are a contractor and do the work yourself you will still have a hard time adding a second story and bathroom plus other repairs for under 50k.My swimming pool cost more than that.If you can pull it off however creative you get with it,you still have to sell by 01/07 and for 335k.or preferably alot more.
