I looked at the info available and it was worth a trip there.It was a Sunday afternoon.

My previous property manager was a lazy *** and refused to uphold terms of our lease so i had to cancel the contract.  

While it may be you've got a pretty lazy PHA locally and months long waits for communication/payment are common locally, that's not the norm, nor should it be. 

A friend of mine recommended Wonder Windows, I called them this afternoon out of sheer curiosity for a quote and left a voice mail.

Call me lazy, but I have people on the ground doing the leg work so I don't have to drive there.

There is more you can do if your home is not selling, however, and it might only take an afternoon to get your home into top shape and raise its value.

We just went to Home Depot and bought appliances to be delivered the afternoon of closing.
