Bank can't do an appraisal without an interior inspection.

Since then, we have had to have mold remediation in that room, plus the master and hallway, and are now looking at having a drain tile put in around the entire interior perimeter.

Hey Patrick,I once looked into hiring some kind of interior/exterior designer for my primary residence last year before we decided to list it.

I'm an investor/interior designer that practices there still as well as other states.

If he tried to influence the seller to accept an inferior offer for his own personal gain, that would be a big No No.And I'm not going to get into the issues of dual agency, which is illegal in a lot of states, or intermediary agency.

Rough rule of thumb would be $10/sqft for a light interior rehab, increasing to $20 & $30/sqft for moderate to full int/ext rehab.

I haven't seen the interior but based on what the seller has told me, it needs a kitchen floor and the ceiling is in place but needs to be textured.
