Piercing the veil refers to holding an individual or other entity responsible for the actions of an entity they hold an ownership or managerial interest in.

I estimate my absorption rate alone will make back at least 50% of the additional investment on the initial lease up and the rest within the first two years on saved maintenance costs and lower turnover.
