[just curious]chances are you can't assume their loan or at the very least, this will be a challenge at first - you have to speak to the lender...and not just the low level loan specialist - you need to speak to someone who can make a logical decision.

I have moved across country with my wife who was originally from MI and people always ask why would I leave Vegas to go to Michigan well its because of her, but at the same time this is actually in my opinion an easier market to invest in with prices being much much lower the potential gains may not be as big per deal but the chance for loss is also significantly less.
