Perfect opportunity for a shyster PM.The tree trimmer showed up without notice on a Saturday, to find the tenant having a barbecue in the backyard (despite this dangerous tree), and announced they were there to trim the tree, which the tenant and her family watched them do with chainsaws while trying to enjoy their barbecue.Hard to believe, I know, but true.

I only have common sense, not commercial loan experience :-)Even my daughter, who was only about 28 years old during the real estate explosion prior to the crash, knew that even though her bank and her realtor kept telling her she could afford a $500,000 home, that she could not.

I don't want to get shot... walking into a home that is occupied without announcing your self is very dangerous for the Agent.Not sure how the other agents who answered on this thread do it.. but thats what I do on the rare occasions I am actually walking into someones home.

Her parents sued the family who had the swingset and won.This article by a lawyer says they won't win a lawsuit against you unless you knew the playset was dangerous, but that still wouldn't stop people from suing you.http://www.zimmetzimmet.com/faq/child-injuries/im-...You could take the chance, but you'd need to make sure it was really well maintained, and as I said, you would probably still get sued and even if you won, it would be expensive.
