After much trial and error with several different aspects of REI, I stumbled upon land investment.

Having sufficient funds in reserves and proper expectations for repairs and cap-ex costs is crucial to keeping a rental property operating smoothly.

Being able to use leverage int the 401k without UBIT is attractive, and thanks for the heads up on the trade or business aspect.

Watch the market place forums too, it's the "Count Down To Launch" LOL.There are several types of conventional options, the "full credit", "step up", "financed option" (actually 2 ways), "set up option" "declining credit option"  each having acceptable variations and the American Option (a favorite of the gurus) and the European Option described, both may employ aspects of the different types. 

I believe I can also provide value to other BP members in this aspect.

I would like someone that has a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of finance but a focus on building wealth through REI.Any help / recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you are investing on appreciation then option C. could work, but then you are playing the guessing game in that aspect
