The hard drive has “FDE†(Full Disk Encryption), which means everything on the disk is encrypted all the time and automatically, and, the disk is password protected, meaning there is a keypad on the drive where I key-in the password every time I plug it in.

Wish I could plug my company here, but we don't do yellow letters, as I mentioned. :-) I think Michael Quarles on here probably has a good business going doing just that, but I've never used his company's services so I can't say for sure.

The assessed person's name (whose property is going to be auctioned off at a tax deed sale) is the name you can use to plug into official records in order to see liens and judgments, mortgages, that are attached to the property.

The main places you really see it as an issue is at plugs...because as you plug things in and unplug them over years and decades, the plug and wire just get a little loose, air gets in there and the wiring oxidizes.
