For 1-4 unit rentals, they would look at market rents. 

They were charging something like $150 to inspect each rental unit when other municipalities were only charging $35-150.

Hi BP,I've applied for the new 5% down multifamily primary residence loan option for a 3-unit property, but keep getting denied at the Automated Underwriting System (AUS) stage. 

I've been managing up to 50 units using Quicken Home & Business for the past 15 years or so, and haven't had any problems.  

I typically enter in the individual unit specs if there are multiple units in the building.

I once owned a 20 unit building that was built in 1915.  

Here in Philadelphia the city requires EACH of your rental units to be lead paint tested & certified every two years.
