I'm a full time police officer and I work part time for another department.

They just extended BART out here and widened Highway 4 so it's becoming a lot easier for commuters and they've also increased the police department personnel so now it's becoming a much safer city.

They don't care about the noise, or you, and noise violations as you being the landlord are probably not a court worthy eviction cause,, especially with out police calls.. you don't have to say why your non-renewing just your non-renewing. 

I don't want to play police, judge, or therapist.

You're the guy whose hand they're grasping to stay out of the abyss.I think you'd really be surprised how much the most hardened police officers and child welfare caseworkers will typically respect the difference between a responsible landlord of low-cost properties and a slumlord. 

Most police departments can help you get these. 

@John Thedford Personally, I have no problems with guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens but I'm also biased since I grew up around guns (my dad was a police officer). =)

Usually property taxes pay for municipal items like police, fire, city, and schools.

I had heard all of the horror stories tenant calls in the middle night, police calls and whatever else you could think of.  

There are good and bad landlords, just like there are good and bad teachers, police and doctors.
