I have single family buyers who bought properties in Maple hts a few years ago for 40-50k that are now worth 100k+ so it's good for them and a lot of other buy and holders in the area, and I expect that trend to continue.  

Most insurance companies have a formula that has numbers far higher than necessary and will not allow the policy holder to lower the numbers.

There are also co-op sponsor units which can be sold with holder of unsold share rights which allows the purchaser to rent out the unit indefinitely as long as they don't occupy the unit.

Vic ...thanks .....I would  contact a  CPA /  accountant with your  question on how a rental loss  can affect you and  be reported .........regarding a lender - there are  many in the area , including the firm I work for ... working with a lender that can  offer a program to a  visa  holder is the key ...

Essentially if a concealed permit holder gets hurt the business owner that made it gun free is liable.
