Hello everyone,I went under contract on a mixed use property back in late June that I'm converting back to a duplex.

I currently have a client looking for multi-family or mixed-use properties in the Bronx.

Since a park will have similar requirements to live there, they will usually meet, or be close to, the lenders needs.Marketing is a mix of Craigslist, bandit signs, park managers, park residents and word of mouth.

Living in NJ, I have mixed feelings about investing in Buy and Hold here.  

My multi family units give me much more cash flow than the single family, though I like having a mixed portfolio if I wanted to liquidate at a higher retail price. 

My initial intentions were to start with wholesaling, but I've gotten such mixed info about it.

I have an interest in commercial and mixed use real estate but I noticed through browsing that residential is much more common on these forms.

I am more geared towards a buy and hold investment strategy with a few fix and flips thrown into the mix.

I have mixed feelings on if it’s my “right” to know who owns a given piece of land. 

Everyone's comments are so mixed - it really seems like you need to have a really good handle on the city to know where to buy.
