I won't get into the overall condition (no wall sockets for power so extension cords hanging from the light fixtures) but 2 of the units had 2 pitbulls each, one of the units told us he was catching up on 3 months rent "tomorrow" (what PM lets a tenant go three months late without evicting?)

They are close to net zero energy homes and are being built as energy efficient as possible without driving the cost too high.I think the cost really depends on the type of construction and all the smaller finishes that go into the house (windows, doors, flooring, trim, appliances, fixtures, cabinets,etc.)

New coin-ops in a secured building they must respect and help maintain, with an increase in rent to cover excess water usage as soon as legally allowable... or laundry goes bye-bye altogether, all their plumbing fixtures get inspected and repaired or relaced, and their rent goes up to cover water usage anyway, just not to include laundry.

Remember to keep the grout dark, grey or darker, as that minimizes the dirty look of light grout needing cleaning and re-sealing.Replace fluorescent lighting with cheap easy access standard bulb fixtures.

No shop consistently and reliably has good deals on tile.Sometimes you can buy inexpensive light fixtures and change them into beauties by changing the glass shades.If you remove cabinets, and they aren't horrible, unscrew them from the wall.
