We dont use leverage in the SDIRA, although it is not hard to do and the resulting taxes are minimal if doing buy-n-hold investing.

remember if you sleep 6 in the condo you need to have enough of everything to service 6 guests  Bathrooms, linens, dishes, chairs, parking  etc.Also keep in mind the extra wear n tear  and noise levelsGood luck

When one orders an appraisal for a fix n flip, you provide the inspector the rehab budget and report and then he walks through and calculates an as-is value before repairs and what the ARV will be after.If the lender does not do appraisals, they sometimes will do a CDA which is a desktop analysis of the asset, or they will use a BPO.
