The market for rooms in a group house $700-$900 range and a studio $1,400 is very strong.

Very competitive but strong rents and appreciation. 

From the time Hawaii was identified as a strong possibility I began market research ( I did live in Hawaii for four years prior so it is not a completely new area for me), educating myself on marketing, building a real estate business, generating leads, the top brokers and agents in the area, successful business models and was to track leads.

Not to mention that our market is remarkably stable, while being insanely strong.

I use Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union they’re a small credit union on the Northshore with a very strong commercial lending team. 

I've had a strong career in nonprofit management that's taught me a lot of hard and soft skills that translate to real estate very well.

These are the types of lenders that I use and have built strong relationships with. 

Stock market days like today are just reminders for why we all invest (and diversify) with real estate...strong returns, less volatility, more control.

If you are going to use all the money for Real Estate then I would think about diversifying at least into some other strong (non-correlated) markets.
