It’s a bit rough around there, but seems to be a good amount of investment planned with the Creative Village project.

I am a sophisticated investor, as I have been investing since the early 70s.

(Full disclosure, I am a leadership and upper management consultant helping organizations with their projects and preparing their up - and coming managers for leadership roles.

My father-in-law approached me and my wife about turning his current sfr in Metairie, LA into a duplex via ~$100k add-on project.

I would like to know if anyone here knows of or is a General Contractor that would be willing to take on a 203K project. 

Some bigger companies offer their own financing on larger projects knowing that many people don’t have 10K lying around for a new roof.

First a little bit about me, I am a licensed general contractor with over 10 years of experience working on mostly commercial projects, I have done about 20 residential projects over the years as well.

@Joel UbieraMost portfolio lenders do not deal with construction loan type project unless for larger development deals. 

As an example, there is a project I am working on that might only give me a 3-4% CoC return while it is stabilized, but my IRR over 5 years will be around 25+%. 

I have only one project that I'm currently working on, but having a hard time finding more due to market values and inventory.
